Arc class

Arc welding is a versatile process.

It is a bit trickier to get used to than mig welding. However if you are thinking of setting up a welders in your own workspace this is the cheapest and most accessible form of welding. The machines are under £250 new for a good make, you do not need gas and the considerable electrodes are under £10 per 5kg.

Arc welding requires a lot of practise so for this class we concentrate more on sticking metal together rather than making a specific object.

As with other classes you will have access to your own welder throughout the class and class numbers will be small, ensuring a good student/tutor ratio.

This is a 2 hour class and the cost is £64 inc materials.
